If you can't afford to take them to the classes, please contact the great dane and doberman rescues. If you don't know of any get on the web to find one in your area.I wish I could help you because I'd sure love the dobie, but I already have three of them.PLEASE NOT THE POUND THERE IS A HIGH RISK THEY WILL KILL THOSE DOGS.!!! DON'T GIVE THEM TO THE POUND!!!! run an ad in your local news paper for free dog to a good home it cuts down on the process if they are purebred find a rescue that supports the breed!!! The pound is for strays not for house dogs and the last thing you want to do is have your dog euthanized because they have no room for it....NO POUND FOR PUREBREEDS

clear out the house you can't just send them to the pound they will be destroyed.. if you do need to re-home them .. do that find them a good home or give them to an organization that never puts a healthy dog down. like dogs trust... ... I recommend you don't ever have another pet.. as you don't seem to realize the commitment and responsibility.

There are dog rescue organizations that might be able to help find a new home for them. Try Hearts United for Animals, for example.

Don't take on more animals than you can handle. That's what the situation sounds like. I'm sorry you have to take your dogs to the pound.
You can try to put an ad in the paper and see if you get any replies.
Good luck.

you parents need to find a new home for the dog. It is their responsibilty. They brought the dog into their home, and now they need to be responsible. Taking them to the pound will most likely end up getting the dogs killed.

Your parents are right. Big dogs are not for small houses.
Get a nice small dog like a Jack Russell, which are as much fun and very intelligent too! You'll love it.

Try to find a friend or neighbor who will take good care of them, also someone who lives closeby so you can still visit your dogs.
