kitty is a 'fraidy cat' its a security issue kitty feels safe close to you and hidden under your hair. I had a cat once that always would jump to my shoulder and hide under my long hair while hanging on with paws around my neck.... just give kitty reassurance with soft words and petting little by little Kitty will become less afraid....kitty may decide to continue to hide under your hair tho...
