If you are a minor it will come off when your 18, if not then you will have to wait and ask the judge. Police and criminal are the same records. Where do you live? In cali I was charge with Mary jane the judge told me to take an 8 hr class I did but you can still see it in the courts records online, anyone can see. For a job you only have to put a misdemeanor for 3 yrs prior. Dont worry if its your first time youll get probation a slap on the wrist.

A store can, and will, call the police if you do anything they consider suspicious. It's up to the police whether they act on the report.

Your description of waht you bought sounds like a good starting point for a meth cooking set... though you'd need a lot more than 1 book of matches...
You said you were charged... was it followed up? Have you been before a judge and formally indicted?
There's a little more to this than you're telling us

I have to agree with "ABOUTTIME" on this one. Businesses would be morally wrong if they recognized an obvious purchase that included the ingredients to make a Meth Lab or even items used in explosive devices and failed to act on them. I am glad that this business did this, for your safety and the safety of others. If there is no foul play involved, I hope that the authorities recognize that and clear you. Good luck, if your innocent, and get help if you're not.

Yes, stores call the cops if you buy any ingredients that are used to make drugs. Whether you are making the drugs or not, if you buy any of the listed (the cops provide stores with a list) items used to manufacture, they will call. The cops are just trying their best to get drug manufactures and dealers off the streets. If you are indeed innocent, fight your case. If you are indeed guilty, suck it up and pay your time.
