The reason I mentioned my boyfriend is in Egypt, is that I have all this time to spend with God.

People, for petes sakes; ok my boyfriend is at a conference far away for a while. I have ten days that i can spend with God with no interruptions. How can I get the most out of that?

I was brought up to go to sunday school and church from an early age. I had knowledge of God and what the life of Jesus meant. However, in my late teens and throught my twenties I really was Jack the Lad. I turned my back on God and sampled big time wine women and song. I knew what it was like to go with the lads on four day drinking binges. I started an affair with a married women with three small children. We spent weekends together and even holidays. She wanted us to set up home together but I was having a great time. Then for my sins my business went and I was left without money or a future. All my friends disappeared and I was alone in depressing circumstances. However I had forgotten that God is always there and I needed to turn to him which I did. I had no other option. I moved to a rented house 200 miles away in a very remote area to start life afresh. Then I had a number of strange dreams all related. I was directed to Matthew Chapter 6 and when I read it I was amazed. In the later verses of the chapter it stated that all I had to do was to seek God's kingdom first and everything I needed would be provided for me. I put it to the test having nothing to lose. Within a year my bank balance is bulging and I am driving a £60,000 new car. My new business which started in early 2006 is expanding greater than I could ever have imagined and I expect to turn over £3 million in 2007 and this is a reality figure. Every day I concentrate on God's kingdom first and do something for him every day if I can and return 10% of the incoming money to his work. He is certainly providing all my needs and much more.

prayer and fasting, you get great answers from god after that. Fasting isn't easy but it shows God you depend only on him. If a total fast isn't possible, try a partial fast, or give up something else that you find it hard to live without, like the computer or tv for example Stick some worship music on and listen for what God tells you. Hope good things happen.

In as much as god is a concept that is a colossal pile of crap, you are asking us how to totally waste 10 days of your life while your boyfriend is away. Sorry, can't justify that at all. Why don't you just get high on drugs for 10 days, in as much as drugs are far easier to kick than religious belief and at least it is a "real" high.

If you want to know what someone wants from you, you listen to them and try to understand.
Read God's words and try to understand and feel them in your heart ... read the Quran.
By the way, I'm Egyptian :) Tell me if your boyfriend needs help while he's in Egypt, seriously.

get a bible , and start reading from the gospels , see why god sacrificed his only son, to take away all our sin so we can get to know god personally john chapter 3 verse 16 "for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"

God probably wants you to go out and shag lots of other blokes while your bloke is away - as that is certainly what he will be doing at a 10 day conference.
