I don't think they are updated very often although the clarity of our home area has greatly improved lately. We know that the image hasn't been updated lately as it shows our caravan parked in a place it hasn't been for around 4 years, it also shows our neighbours caravan which he gave away years ago. When looking at a friends home, it shows his red car and he hasn't had that one for a few years either!

It's amazing to see it though!

I live in Canberra. The current photos show a white car parked in front of the neighbour's house. I looked outside and it's not there now!

But seriously folks it shows two trees that I had cut down just over a year ago, but the houses along Eucumbene Drive, about 3km to the west that were destroyed in January 2003 do not appear on the photo.

In the area just north of the Woden Plaza shopping mall, Scarborough House was extended beginning about 3 years ago and the extensions appear. There is no sign of a new building that was begun about a year ago and is now complete. So perhaps in this part of Canberra they are updated every 18 months or so.
