i had a very similar problem, in fact i even went in for light treatment 3 times a week which didn't make my boss very happy. but nothing worked great. finally i did a lot of research and found that the dead sea would cure psoriasis and many other skin problems. well, it would be an expensive trip that i could not afford as you need to spend 4-8 weeks there. finally, i decided to move from Connecticut to New Mexico since last March 2006. since then, almost immediately my psoriasis cleared up. i would say it's about 90-95% GONE and i don't need any creams or medications. I'm just living life! climate change helped a lot! i would suggest visiting a dry climate like New Mexico or Arizona. good luck!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/CuresPsoriasis20154ATO everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.
For more information, check here : http://Psoriasis.naturallysaver.com .
You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

Probably a shot in the dark, but suffering from 2 different skin conditions myself I know how it can feel and anything becomes worth a try. But I have found that the Aloe Vera Body Balm from the Body Shop calms my eczema. If I have eczema it helps it to heal up but if I catch it in time, when the burning sensation that precedes the rash starts, it even stops it in it's tracks. Sadly skin conditions are a bit of a family thing and when my mum's psoriasis returned several weeks ago for the first time in around 20 years I bought her some Body Shop Aloe Vera Body Balm and her psoriasis has improved. She only had it on her elbows and the patches were about the size of the palm of a hand but they were very roar looking. Let me know if you have already tried or if successful. Good luck. xx

RE: I have psoriasis that gets really severe in winter... does any one have any suggestions to help with it?
I do use the creams and whatnot my doctor (dermatologist) prescribes me, she will not send me in for phototherapy even though thats what helps the most. It covers a good percentage of my body. The creams only work for so long and then they stop working. Am looking for people that suffer from it and have suggestions of things that have helped them. It gets so bad that it looks like I have been burned sometimes and gets really sore.

I had seen cases of Psoriasis which really affects the whole body. It is usually associated with stress and dandruff.
There are medications which you can use, however, if they fail, Ultraviolet radiation is needed.
The skin lesions doesnt really go away but it becomes dry in some cases with treatment.
If you arent contended with one doctor, then you can have a 2nd or 3rd opinion. Whatever the majority says then follow it.

I have scalp psoriasis and I use a cream called Dovonex which slows down the formation of the plaques but you have a more serious type of psoriasis. Best wishes to you.

i have had psoriasis on my scalp and body since i wasd 13. i have used every type of cream they have out there but nothing worked. then my cousin got this medicine found in saudi arabia called daivonex. i swear to you, i used it all over my body for only 3 days and it all completely disappeared. theres also a lotion that u can use to keep the skin moisturized. can't remember the name of that one but if u're interested, i can email it to u when i find it.
i used to buy tube after tube of dovonex here in the u.s. but that stuff was designed by the FDA not to work for a reason. They want u to keep spending all your money to treat this disorder. But see if u can get someone to ship it to u from saudi and good luck!!

this is a somewhat uncomfortable method, but it worked for me...
go to your local drug store and buy one of those sweat suits..you know the plastic suits? put it on before bed time and got to sleep with it on. Keep doing this for about 2 weeks..You can from time to time use your creams on this but dont do it every night.
Pick up a book by Dr. pagano
http://www.amazon.com/Healing-Psoriasis-Alternative-John-Pagano/dp/0962884707
In it he talks of the importance of sweating and a certain diet to follow as well.
Good luck to you..
