I saw McHenry's answer and don't totally agree with it. The food industry has a vested interest in not turning people away from their frozen and processed products. But since our food sources aren't consistent throughout the year...or...are far away from us, frozen/processed foods are a reality of life. So while fresh is always best, frozen is the next best when it comes to getting the optimal amount of nutrients...including antioxidants.

All the other answerers are wrong (so far). According to this website:

http://www.oregon-berries.com/cx15/powerhouse.htm

They state:

"While fresh berries are delicious, consumers have access to them only 2 months of the year. Fortunately, berries are available year round in many forms, including IQF (individually quick-frozen), pureed, canned and dried. You may ask if processing such as cooking or freezing berries affect the phytochemical properties they contain. The answer is a resounding no!"

So go ahead and enjoy the fresh or frozen berries.
