As I recall it used to take me nearly 10 hours from Redding to LA. Redding is about 2 hours north of Sacramento, so that would be about 8 hours, depending on traffic, of course.

It's about 400 miles. You can easily do the math and figure in your speed and the number of stops you want to make. Figure on 6.5 to 8 hours.

about 8 hours if you drive at about 80, 85 mph, 7 if you go continuously without stopping. I've done it at least 20 times LOL yeah, long drive

So many variables ... food, fuel, traffic, exact destination, route, speed ... do a mapquest and add in "rest stops".

5 hours and 29 minutes if you don't have any stop-overs, your average speed should be at least 65mph. :)
