A question for you: Why do arrogance and a whimsical nature require a cure? Are they diseases? What, specifically, is wrong with these traits?

As far as I know, you can do reiki on anyone, anytime, from anywhere. However, as with all treatments, things usually work only when the person being treated is open and receptive to it.

You might want to ask yourself why you're trying so desperately to "cure" someone who, from your question, doesn't seem to think there's anything wrong.

If the person you are talking about doesn't want to be helped that is their choice!

You cannot possibly try and "cure" a person without their knowledge or, indeed against their will.

If the person you are trying to help is open to ideas (although it sounds as though they are not) then suggest that they consult a Bach Flower Remedies practitioner as Bach Flower Remedies are far more geared towards personality traits than reiki.
