It may start as pimple like lesion. Different rashes occur at the same time during its progression. The skin lesions may be vesicular, meaning some may have fluid inside it, some are with crusts. When the lesions had all crusted then it is the stage that is no longer communicable. The lesions may remain for a week or as long as 3 weeks. It should be treated early so that the lesions wouldnt be that bad. The patient is already communicable even though he still doesnt have the lesions. That is during its initial stage. Once you have it is just occurs once in a lifetime! If you still dont have it it is important that you be given the vaccine.
