Hi! Getting married is a big decision. You say that you are 'partners' ... if this means that he wants to marry you also, then you are definitely old enough to marry. 26 year olds have developed their individual personalities enough to bring a good foundation to the marriage.
Now some things to think about as you consider marriage... Could you live without him? Does he bring out the good things in you? Do you both have a healthy way of dealing with disagreements? Do you feel safe and free to share any and every topic with him? Does he confide in you? Do you trust him? Do you respect him? Does he seek to please you and make you happy?
You need a guy who wants to make you happy... he should think you are the most amazing girl in the world. You should be able to share openly and honestly... even in disagreements. You both need to be willing to sacrifice your own personal desires for the good of the other. Marriage is about compromise, love, respect, trust, forgiveneness. These are fundamental.
If you both have established a good friendship based on these principles, then you should be in a good place to begin a married life together. :)

Both are adult as per indian constitution, so legally u both can get married. With both of u being of the same age, probably u both may hav common friends and many things in common.
Now if u r looking at compatibility then, it is always recommendede tha tthe grl be a lil younger than the male. This helps build the peace and tranquility at home. Now u can decide.

I had a love marriage, however I can see why arranged marriages could be successful too. Parents know us since the day we're born and so they can easily see what kind of person we would be compatible with. This is why I think arranged marriages would be successful. Love marriages can also be successful if the two people can accept differences, respect each other and care for each other.
