Your problem sounds a bit more serious then mine but I had insomnia for about 3 months and nothing seemed to help. I tried the weird remedies, the relaxation exercises etc.

Eventually I took sleeping pills but these just made me feel groggy and hungover all the time. They did help me sleep but the sleep was not natural.

And then I discovered exercise. That is the only thing that helped me sleep normally was exercise. After about two weeks of starting a regular exercise program I was sleeping like a log. Now I exercise all week, boxing, swimming, tennis, running. Long walks etc and I have gone from 5-6 hours sleep a night to about 9.

If you don't have time to exercise you need to make time. I cannot stress how much better I feel since I started exercising.

If you already do exercise but are still having sleeping problems you may have a deeper psychological problem and you need professional help.

Sorry to hear of your problem with chronic insomnia. I too have this problem and then some, though you have explored a lot more avenues than I and you probably have a lot on your platter right now.

I have heard that yoga, exercise, relaxation, massage & psychological therapy and Reiki work. I have tried all the above and some homeopathic, but not yoga often enough to know. The Reiki was an overwhelming experience for me, it was at a time when my dad was very ill and I didn't know how to deal with all the emotions. I've tried a bunch of RX meds none have worked, to date. Sorry I'm not much help. I hope you are able to find some relief soon.

I used to think it was from traveling abroad and the time changes that messed up my sleep patterns. Not true - in my case it is stress and depression.

With all that said, today's sunrise is a gift.

No one cares what you or I "believe", the truth is that homeopathy is total BS. Your misinterpretation of reality is not relevant. Now, get off your butt and go and do some exercise. You're looking for a pill to lose weight without doing any work, this is a deluded fantasy of yours and the sooner you grow up and take responsibility for your own health instead of trying to find a magic bullet, the better.

As Hopeful said, lavender oil on your pillow, and a bills and boon type book, you don't have to think 'cos yu know how the story will end, and it will allow you to unwind, also eating a banana about an hour before bed may help, followed by a cup of horlicks.

Drink plenty of water. Do Yoga and take hot milk before going to sleep in addition to your homeopathic medicines. If even this is not helping you then you have to see an allopathic doctor who might prescribe you stronger sleeping remedies like morphine, pethedine etc, etc which would give you a good sleep but with great side effects.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

You may have Parasites, internally, which can cause one not to be able to sleep. Try Swedish Bitters from www.swedishbitters.com and from any Whole Food Stores, and other natural foods stores in the USA. It helps to kill off any parasites that you might have, internally. However do not take it with any kind of milk products. Also, you need to get a copy of the book called, "The Cure For All Diseases," by Dr. Hulda R. Clark, Ph.D.,N.D. She is an independent research scientist who has discovered that there are only two causes of diseases, Toxins and Parasites. However, her work has not been embraced by the mainstream medical community and the drug companies because she actually shows individuals how to CURE diseases instead of just treating them (with chemical based medications which are toxic to the body). This book is also very good to help you with any sick children as well. Good Luck to you.
