Not really, men usually get a hard on when they are turned on. If a guy tells you oh I am turned on I just can't get hard there lying, because in order for a man to get a hard on they have to be turned on first. If they don't have a hard on then that usually means they are not turned on.

It's really true what they say - the greatest sexual organ is the brain, not the other parts. A man can be extremely turned on without getting hard, especially if he is consciously trying to control himself. Of course, in such a case, even a tiny touch might set him off instantly.

turned on can also mean that he's really physically attracted 2 someone but non sexual...
