Very hard to solve because others induced enmity.
Tell him you love him whatever he does.Show him you think, feel and act lovingly. If no results comes in a year then change your rhythm, be calm, unpredictable, don't show your plans, thoughts, feelings, be flexible like rubber but never fight. With some practise you will became expert for damping or preventing his actions.Use all as life's training, getting experienced with trouble making people.Earned knowledge of the strategy (winning without the war is the best) will help you many times in your future life.If you wish you can consult (regarding the strategy) The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Mushasi (legend of Japan swordsmanship) applicable in the all of the situation of everyday life (from birth till the stars).Good luck

You are doing an unhealthy psychological dance together. If you refuse to dance, he can't. In whatever ways you've been reacting to him, do the opposite. He will have to change his psychological dance step to match yours. You have an unhealthy dynamic going. You need to, just, change the dynamic.
Always ACT; never RE-ACT.
Everyday do just one thing that will please him. He doesn't even have to even know it. Just do it. Some small thing to make him happy. If he does notice, it's okay; but, don't make or let him make a big deal out of it; but, try not to let him know. Then, do 2 things a day that will bring him happiness. Regularly, increase the number of things you do for him a day. What goes around, comes around. Eventually, he's going to change and do the same. (It'll also drive him crazy!) It's fun!
Just try it! You're not doing this for him--you're doing it for you--to change the dynamics between you. But, it'll end up benefitting both of you, and probably everyone else in the household, as well.
In other words, give it (peace) a chance (1 month) if it doesn't work, you can always go back to war.

You never ever think about getting rid of your brother but you always hold on to your brother.
You need to understand fighting among brothers or sisters are common when they were young.
You need to look at the good things that has happened to you. Also the good time you had with him.
Never think badly of him if you are nice to him then one day believe me you can win his heart at the end.
Remember winning him with your good deeds would last forever.

Emotionally or physically? If it's emotional, distance yourself from him, you don't say whether you are both in the family home, which might prove difficult. Siblings can be the cruellest of people you must find your own point where contact with him is bearable.
