after his nighttime bath, try a little rice cereal in his food. If you are breast feeding pump. normally breast feeding babies wake up more often for feedings. Also try to start scheduling naps if you can that way he wont be as active during the night. It takes some work but you will have your nights back to your self. I hope this is what you were asking.
one more thing so you dont clog the nipple make the hole just a little bigger with a knife.

I also have a 3 month old and this is what we do....We give her a little rice cereal in her bottle and swaddle her. I think swaddling does the trick. Also having a radio on in her room with classical music helps. You can also put your baby in his/her swing. It reminds them of being in the uterus. There is an awesome book about this...

Try a warm bath, gentle soothing, the dummy, a mobile, singing to him in a soft voice, patting the bum, go for a walk in the pram, or swaying in your arms. Good luck.
