yes... they can but only after they become little mature...coz in teenage time teenagers think their parents as their enemy.. it happens coz teenagers r ristericted to do so many things which they actually want to do..

but as soon as maturity understanding come along..i think they can do it.. and simultaneously full co operation from parent side is also required...

yes.....
i think that generation gap is nothing but non acceptance of both parents & children of point of views, thinking, beliefs of each other. this gap which is so called generation gap can be reduced with a joint effort of both parents & children. it is not the soul duty of parents to adjust according to the children but children may also require to consider the experiences of their parents and mould their personality according to their parents though having a touch of their own individuality to an extent.

I think children automatically do this, they can only operate within their lifetime experiences whereas adults have a much longer lifespan and more experiences from which to chose. adults also have the gift of hindsight and hence get into that area, of unfortunately making statements like "When I was your age"
or "I've been there done that" ...

yes children shud try to be frnds to parents...think from their aspect...understand their concerns ...then naturally there will not be any gen gap

O YES IF CHILDREN TREAT THEIR PARENTS AS FRIENDS AND TELL ALL THE DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES. IF SON IS COMPUTER ENGINEER HE MUST GIVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER TO HIS PARENTS.
