Primary feathers coming through it must have fallen from the nest. If possible someone from around Wakefield to take it to.

Its a fledgling.. Put it back where you found it Mom will comme

All birds fledge. You will see Robins, Cardinals, all of them the babies ar eoften out of the nest before they can fly and the parents will take turns coming to feed it...
If you let it be gone from there too long they will think its gone and abandon it.

If its been too long and mom does not come.. then you will need to call local wildlife center or zoo

Dont feed it yourself.

Good Luck

Do you have a blender?

Look for puppy food (dry) and soak about ½ cup in water until it becomes saturated.

Hard boil 2 eggs.

Look in local pet store for an “Instant Ounces” dietary supplement (powder) or bird pellets.

If using pellets, soak the pellets like you did the puppy food.

Place ingredients in a blender and puree. You’re looking for a texture similar to tomato paste.

Once you have that done the tricky part is feeding it. You can try to show it the food at first and place a little bit just in its beak. Once it gets the idea that it has food it may start to eat on its own.

What you may have to do is tube feed it and for this you should use an oral syringe with a feeding tube (soft flexible “rubber” tube that can easily fit down its throat). You want to slide the tube back down its throat to its crop; roughly 4-5 cm. Slowly start to feed it and look to see the crop swell. Use your best judgment for when it’s full; probably just under 10 cc’s. It’s better to under feed and repeat as necessary than overfeed and risk suffocation.

Also be sure the food is not too hot or too cold.

* You can also use jarred baby food in a pinch!

When the squabs (young Pigeons) are that young, and without feathers, they're still being given a milk substance by their parents. I'd call a vet for information about what to do, or where to take it. Sadly, it doesn't sound promising, as it may be too young to start on Pigeon food, although you might be able to offer some and provide water too, in a bowl.

Feed it cooked oatmeal or cream of wheat,at room temperature, thinned with a little water.Feed with an oral syringe, making sure to place the syringe well down into the birds throat so it doesn't inhale any of it.Soon you can begin to mix some finely cracked corn and millet in with it,then begin to offer seed and grit in a dish,as well as a dish of water.Feed it at least 4 times a day,all it will eat.

young wood pigeons don't feed like other birds, the parent puts there beak into the youngsters mouth and regurgitates food down its throat, so you need to check with a vet as to how and what to feed it
