I understand that prenatal vitamins causes pregnant women hair and nails to grow faster than average, I was wondering if it had the same affect on men without "harmful" side-effects?Like the guy twig and berrys falling off or him growing boobs or something like that.

Check with your doctor or a dietician. I know a few elderly men who take prenatal vitamins but they are anemic and have had vitamin and mineral deficiencies. The levels of iron and other minerals might be too high for a healthy man with a normal diet.

Vitamins are just that, vitamins. They are the same vitamins as in the Men's formula, but may be at different levels (probably have more iron and folate in them). The only way bits are going to "start falling of you" is if you take female hormones. It is unlikely you would be able to buy anything containing female hormones in a vitamin bottle, over the counter. Take them if you want, they won't do you any harm, and if you're eating properly, won't do you any good either. Just don't overdose on them, as some vitamins are not cleared quickly from the body, such as Vit A and E.

On the upside, if you did grow boobs, you could stay home at night and fondle yourself. ;-)

Hope this helps.

Prenatal vites are for women who are going to carry and nourish the baby via their own good nutrition for 9 mos. Your husband can encourage good sperm production by wearing boxer shorts, rather than briefs (sperm don't like too warm testicles.) Vites can't hurt him, but they won't be critical to his sperm count and prenatal vites are designed for women's needs, not men's.

absolutly not. i have taken them for almost a year. they have no hormones, only essential vitamins that women need during pregnancy (such as re-growth for tissues, example=hair, nails, skin..ect.)
