that is a toughy. depends what it is on!!! can't make my mind up between the 2. Noooo!!! i'll be thinking about this all day now.

Sorry, I admit to being a - whatever it is they call them - forget right now - oh, is it Pleb? - but anyway.....
Salad Cream EVERY time. I can think of nothing more tasteless or bland than mayo, and I really can't understand the fascination with it!
Just to watch these TV chefs farting about making it puts me right off when I can just get a jar of Heinz's or Sainsbury's out of the cupboard! ...And another thing.... I'm always suspicious about some (I did say SOME) of those 'own brands', and I for one can't tell the difference between those two I just mentioned. Baked beans (for instance) can be a bit watered down, but salad cream soon gives the game away if it's too thin, so sales would soon slump if it were done to that.

Here we call it salad dressing, but I'm sure that's what salad cream must be. I prefer salad cream, but my husband likes mayo better. I don't think mayo has much flavor.

Salad cream, alot more variety in taste compared to mayo. I use leftover thousand islands to coat my chicken, leave it for an hour in refrigerator then fry it. Yummy.

depends what on but on chips mayo for sure!
on salad, salad cream and mayo! with tuna sandwiches salad cream and tom sauce.. try it sounds gross but its lovely and tasty!!!
