Wilderness in South Africa has an amzing beach, its about 10 miles along, golden sand - although its a bit windy.
The beach at Phu Quoc island in Vietnam is also incredible, really lovely warm water and golden sands - but mind out for the cow cr@p......... its so un touristy there that farmers sometimes lead their cattle up the beach.
The best beach in the wolrd has to be in Bonaire, in the Dutch Antilles - parrot fish swimming around your ankles, turquoise waters, warm all year round - truly amazing.

Any beach at all. I'm always happier if I'm on a beach (I don't sunbathe or swim, I just beachcomb or scrabble around in rock pools). I always feel more at peace if I can hear the sea, maybe because I was brought up across the road from a beach (Barry Island).

Pa-tong Beach, in Phuket and Cha-Am Beach in Petchaburi, Thailand both are my favourite beaches. Lot of water sports' activities and clean white beach.

Villefranche-sur-Mer is a beautiful beach. It is in the South of France situated 10mins from Nice, towards Monaco. The water is usually calm and and fish swim around your feet. You can see pictures by clicking on the link below.

myrtos beach in kefalonia is the best beach i've been to. As you approach by car through the mountains you turn a corner and look down over the bay and can just see the glittering sand and blue sea below - it's a great sight.
Plus, as it's pretty secluded it wasn't too busy when i went (late may), though i expect it gets busier later in the season.
Here's a photo I took of the beach:

Most of the beaches in Goa, but prefer central, southern Goa. North Goa is way too commercialised, no space to turn far less sunbathe. But I love the country.
