Zechariah 14:12 say this " And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the peoples that have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot away while they stand upon their feet and their eyes shall corrode away in their sockets and their tongue shall decay away in their mouth".
That might be the verse you're talking about.

Mark 13:7
And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

Nothing about skeletons, nothing on dead mens bones.
on war, so you might have got it from a book written by man that said it was in the bible.
its not.

In Lamentations 4:8,9, etc. Jeremiah prophecied about the terrible (and unnecessary) starvation that actually took place before the fall of Jerusalem. They were like skeletons, all right. Before they got actually killed.

But here's a cheerful thought: Psalm 35:10 says: "All my bones shall say, 'Lord, who is like unto Thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?'" .

In the old testament Daniel will tell you of wars and rumors of wars, in the new testament The Revaluation of John will tell you about wars and rumors of wars.Revaluation will tell you one third of mankind will be destroyed.Rev, will also tell you man will be tormented and will seek death, but not find it.I have never heard of skeletons before hitting the ground.
