the reason is the Buddhists are peace loving people .unlike other religion followers, they don't make violent demonstrations even the government neglects them.due to vote bank politics,the government declared holiday for ambedkar' birth day and celebrating it.

for them its not a big deal to show such festivals...unless and untill there is some masala...for them....thy will not air it ....... but in fact thy shud air all the festivals as ppl come to knw a lot abt the festivities thru media......
