Why is it that Christians go head forward when it comes to supporting some issues such as anti-stem cell research and anti-abortion? If they support humanity why aren't they protesting the war in large numbers? Are they blind? Do they not see the number of young, dead Americans and other innocent human beings? Yes, tragedy hit the U.S., what makes it okay for us to keep adding to the body count?

Simply put, Christians should be *ashamed* of their support for the war.

There is no excuse. It is/was a denial of their religious teachings.

I am not a Christian, I am a believer of Jesus, I am a doer of the word and not just a hearer only.
I can answer this question for you,
Its not one your ready to hear. I’m going to use the bible.
You have no understanding of it. But If I may have a chance, It might shine some light, and make some since, As God has shown me in his word, By the Holy Spirit, and not mans teachings.
First. This is Satan’s kingdom, Earth,
Jesus said, " I saw Satan fall like lightning to the earth".
Satan, and one third of his angles,
He’s slick, sly, and knows the word of God, and he tells lies, and will make you think allot of things. And without God, your think there your own thoughts.
Let me finish. Please.
Satan comes to still, kill, and destroy.
We do not fight agents ourselves. But Spirits in high places above the earth,
The angles that fell. Are now Spirits.
Some people call the Ghost. They can form any form to get people to believe a lie, because Satan is the father of Lies.
Sure its a tragedy, but I do not support any killing, of any kind.
It comes from Satan.
This is his kingdom.
I live in the realm of Gods Kingdom.
Of Gods understanding and not my own.
I am only what he makes me.
I can only do what he allows me.
When I walked in the world I did like everyone else.
I had a abortion once. I know what it feels like,
I know the embracement of it when I came to the Lord.
But I was forgiven.
I fight Satan in the Spirit, by using the word of God agents him.
I can bind, and I can release, Satan knows me,
He comes to visit me, he sends his fallen angles to see me.
I tell them to go on an get out.
But I will not fight flesh, for something that was created first by Satan in the Spirit.
I have come into a place in God, that I know who I am, what I am, and I am not scared of you, your wild thoughts. Of what I live like.
You come live with me for one week, you will see the super natural in operation, I trust in God so much, you will walk away a believer, not because of me, but because of how I live for God.
And how the super natural is just away of life for me.
I’m in a different realm then your use too.
I walk in the power and demonstration of God, by his anointing.
On my life.
You would not understand.
Your not in a place to make a comet about believers. Were far more advanced then Christens.
We walk in it. Not talk about it.

Well, what it comes down to is which is the lesser of two evils.
Let's take a trip through history, applying your logic:
Revolutionary War was wrong, because innocent people died.
War of 1812 was wrong, because innocent people died.
Civil War was wrong, because innocent people died.
WWI was wrong, because innocent people died.
WWII was wrong, because innocent people died.

It isn't that war is RIGHT, or GOOD. It's that sometimes, it is the lesser of two evils. Sure, we could have stayed out of Iraq and Afghanistan. But what would it have cost us? What would it have cost THEM?
That's what truly matters. It's easy to see things in black and white, but it's never that simple. ESPECIALLY when it comes to war.
Most Iraqis are grateful that we took Hussein out of power.
Most Afghanis were grateful that we took the Taliban out of power, and they're hoping that they STAY out of power.
We've given the Iraqis hope for a better future. MANY of them feel that way. Didn't you see them kissing the soldiers when they toppled a statue of Hussein in Baghdad?

No Christian is anti-stem cell research. We are against killing babies to get those stem cells. You can get stem cells from other sources without having to resort to murder.

Do you feel the same way when it come to the tens of millions of innocent babies slaughtered in America because abortion?

How could someone who purpotedly believes in human rights deny that killing babies is wrong?

Even though I agree with you for the most part it's wrong to make sweeping generalizations about an entire group of people.

Plus your question is very broad so some may approve of one concept in your question, while they are against other parts.

It's all hypocritical. By the way, did you know that last month, the US soldier death toll in Iraq reached a greater number than the number of US citizens that died on 9/11??? What does that tell you?

Also, they estimate that 655,000 Iraqis that have died because of the conflict that WE started!

UNIVERSAL PEACE

20
Today there is no greater glory for man than that of service in the cause of the “Most Great Peace”. Peace is light whereas war is darkness. Peace is life; war is death. Peace is guidance; war is error. Peace is the foundation of God; war is satanic institution. Peace is the illumination of the world of humanity; war is the destroyer of human foundations. When we consider outcomes in the world of existence we find that peace and fellowship are factors of upbuilding and betterment whereas war and strife are the causes of destruction and disintegration. All created things are expressions of the affinity and cohesion of elementary substances, and non-existence is the absence of their attraction and agreement. Various elements unite harmoniously in composition but when these elements become discordant, repelling each other, decomposition and non-existence result. Everything partakes of this nature and is subject to this principle, for the creative foundation in all its degrees and kingdoms is an expression or outcome of love. Consider the restlessness and agitation of the human world today because of war. Peace is health and construction; war is disease and dissolution. When the banner of truth is raised, peace becomes the cause of the welfare and advancement of the human world. In all cycles and ages war has been a factor of derangement and discomfort whereas peace and brotherhood have brought security and consideration of human interests. This distinction is especially pronounced in the present world conditions, for warfare in former centuries had not attained the degree of savagery and destructiveness which now characterizes it. If two nations were at war in olden times, ten or twenty thousand would be sacrificed but in this century the destruction of one hundred thousand lives in a day is quite possible. So perfected has the science of killing become and so efficient the means and instruments of its accomplishment that a whole nation can be obliterated in a short time. Therefore comparison with the methods and results of ancient warfare is out of the question.
According to an intrinsic law, all phenomena of being attain to a summit and degree of consummation, after which a new order and condition is established. As the instruments and science of war have reached the degree of thoroughness and proficiency, it is hoped that the transformation of the human world is at hand and that in the coming centuries all the energies and inventions of man will be utilized 21 in promoting the interests of peace and brotherhood. Therefore may this esteemed and worthy society for the establishment of international peace 1 be confirmed in its sincere intentions and empowered by God. Then will it hasten the time when the banner of universal agreement will be raised and international welfare will be proclaimed and consummated so that the darkness which now encompasses the world shall pass away….
The powers of earth cannot withstand the privileges and bestowals which God has ordained for this great and glorious century. It is a need and exigency of the time. Man can withstand anything except that which is divinely intended and indicated for the age and its requirements. Now, Praise be to God! in all countries of the world, lovers of peace are to be found and these principles are being spread among mankind, especially in this country. Praise be to God! this thought is prevailing and souls are continually arising as defenders of the oneness of humanity, endeavoring to assist and establish international peace. There is no doubt that this wonderful democracy will be able to realize it and the banner of international agreement will be unfurled here to spread onward and outward among all the nations of the world. I give thanks to God that I find you imbued with such susceptibilities and lofty aspirations and I hope that you will be the means of spreading this light to all men. Thus may the Sun of Reality shine upon the East and West. The enveloping clouds shall pass away and the heat of the divine rays will dispel the mist. The reality of man shall develop and come forth as the image of God his creator. The thoughts of man shall take such upward flight that former accomplishments shall appear as the play of children;—for the ideas and beliefs of the past and the prejudices regarding race and religion have ever been lowering and destructive to human evolution. I am most hopeful that in this century these lofty thoughts shall be conducive to human welfare. Let this century be the sun of previous centuries the effulgences of which shall last forever, so that in times to come they shall glorify the twentieth century, saying the twentieth century was the century of lights, the twentieth century was the century of life, the twentieth century was the century of international peace, the twentieth century was the century of divine bestowals and the twentieth century has left traces which shall last forever.

I would ask the same question of the people who say they are against the war and all the killing but are for abortion. The war has killed about 2900 american soldiers so far. Since 1973, abortion has killed 40 million babies. Why aren't you against that killing.

Killing babies in the embryo form in the name of helping save the lives of older people is just not ethical.
We Know not which christians support or do not support war. Let us not suppose that the majority of christians favor it.
BTW babies are defenseless, somebody has to speak up for THEM.

WHAT DO CHRISTIANS HAVE TO DO WITH THE WAR?
PLEASE DON'T BLAME ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THE WORLD ON CHRISTIANS
YOU SOUND LIKE THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY "ALL AMERICANS"
WE KNOW HOW MANY DIED IN 9/11
AND ARE DYING TODAY.
BUT HOW MANY MORE WOULD DIE IF WE DO NOTHING?
YOU HAVE FREEDOM TODAY BECAUSE OF GREAT MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIFE FOR YOUR FREEDOM.
FREEDOM COMES WITH A PRICE.
LIVE FREE OR DIE
