everyone thinks that i'm a complete idiot but the little thing in between its legs looks like a winky. i would be asking if it was that obvious

OMG, the answers here are so great. That's pretty funny stuff. But as everyone has already answered the question - I'll just add good luck with your new puppy and don't forget to have it spayed or neutered when it's a bit older - you don't want any more little puppies running around. Good luck

i dont know how to answer this question without accidently making fun of you. I am not going to say look for the penis because that is too obvious. If it is a female dog it will have 6 nipples on their chest (under the dog). If it has that its a girl. BTW while you are down there, check between the back legs, if theres something dangling, its a boy.

It will either have a penis which will be located on it's tummy area or a vagina between it's legs.lol

lay it on its back, if it has a penis that comes to about halfway up its tummy then it is a boy dog. girl dogs do not have this, their reproductive "tackle" is behind, under the dogs anus
