what can I give them to soothe their tummys? Two cats, both puking, one has thrown up about 6 times, the other twice, all clear liquid, it;'s 2:30 in the morning, so thanks for the vet advice but thats not really realistic now is it?

Thanks everyone, chicken is heating on the stove, the cats are curled on a blanket in my chair, I've called in sick tomorrow and the hangover advice got a bad rating. This question is done.

My goodness, this is very serious. I hope all works out well until you can rush them in the morning to the vets office, and don't take no from the receptionist just be there when they open and have your pets and tell them you have an emergency. If you have any white meat chickem boil a little for them. Even if it is some wings. Give them the broth, and the chicken. make sure it is not greasy and there is no salt in it at all. The salt free broth can help but make sure there is room temperature water to help rehydrate them, I am sure they will vomit it back up. They probably have a curable disease that the vet can help. Good Luck.

try to isolate them in a room or crate where you can keep an eye on them, offer broth or water, but don't force them to drink, it's not normal for a cat to vomit, also make sure the room is warm, if they get too dehydrated, can cause hypothermia (sound silly, but true) and severe dehydration can lead to other problems. Unfortunately, like with kids at this time of day about the only thing you can do is keep them warm, comfortable and comforted till you get to the vet. Sorry couldn't be of more help, and good luck, and the other post is right, just show up at the vets office, don't give them a chance to say no.

Well if its that bad, i would try to find a 24 hour vet hospital. If you live anywhere near a city they should be available.
