60's would be born 1946 - 1935, people usually pick-up euphoniums from their teen through young adult years, so 1961 trough 1971. Canned beer was just becoming common then. However if he said it while popping a can of beer, I would just hope he was of legal drinking age.
Origins of the American Beer Can date to 1909.

He said since canned beer, so he could be born at any time from the invention of canned beer up until now, so he could be 3 years old or 30.

Memo to self: If I EVER....and I mean EEEEEEEEEVer refer to myself as "the hottest thing since...." make sure it is in my house...alone.....with all windoes shut.....after a all night drinking bender.....etc., otherwise I have lost my f'n mind....:)
