I had sex with my girlfriend of two months for the first time last night and noticed that she has hair in between her butt cheeks. She is very attractive but I felt a bit disgusted after seeing it.
I want to know if it is normal/common for girls to grow hair there.
I have no clue it if it normal/common because all the girls i've been with before didn't have hair in that area.
My girlfriend is not hairy. She shaves her pubic hair, her legs, her armpits, etc, but her butt is hairy!
If this is normal, than I will try to understand and adjust my feelings/thoughts because I don't expect her to shave her butt. That is a very hard place to shave and she shouldn't risk cutting herself.
So, I don't know what to think.
Girls, don't get offended, this is an honest/innocent question, Do you shave that area of your bodies?

No, My girlfriend did not used to be a man, and no, her butt is not extremely hairy. She doesn't have hair on the crack. You can only see it in certain positions (i won't get into details!) when her butt cheeks are spread.

Honey, it is normal to have hair ANYWHERE. Girls and guys have it. Some is just longer or grows faster then others. If it bothers you, talk about it with her. Simple solution is shaving. Girls (and guys) are more open to doing things if only people would talk. Good luck.

Yes, it is. The easiest (although not the most painless) way to remove it is to lightly dust the area with baby powder or cornstarch and spread the cheeks wide as possible. Then stick pre-waxed strips on the area (keeping clear of the labia - that skin can tear right off!) and pull off the strips very fast in the opposite direction of hair growth.
It is also possible to shave that area, but it requires a generous dab of shaving cream (non scented, sensitive skin type) and a very good quality swivel head ladies razor with moisture strips on it. It can be done in the shower or bath, on your knees and very carefully shaving. For this area you shave it like you would if you were shaving a balloon which you did not want to pop.
There are depilatories like Neet and Nair, but even the non scented, sensitive skin ones are irritating for that area of the body. And, of course, if someone else helps or there is a large mirror and a gymnastic person, they can always pluck with a tweezers. But it is considerably more painful than plucking ones eyebrows!
Or you can just enjoy the hairy *** as is. LOL

Hair there is normal.
You have stated a good observation. It's simply taboo to bring up such a topic that there would naturally be some ignorance in general society.
I remember watching a documentary about sex during the Victorian era. There was a gentleman who knew nothing about the naked female body except for what he saw on marble statues, which depicted women with no body hair. When he got married and saw his naked wife, he was so surprised and disgusted at the sight of her pubic hair that he refused to touch her and had the marriage annulled.
To answer your last question, I used to shave there, but the prickly stubble was worse than having a less than pretty behind. I now choose comfort and my husband likes me how I am.

Some girls do. Not everyone will have hair there but a lot do so the ones who say 'that's disgusting, no way' probably have an anal beard! Your girlfriend sounds like she takes care of herself so probably hasn't even realised that she has hair there because it's an awkward place to see. You can get yourself waxed there but it's going to be very painful! To answer your question, yes, it is fairly common. Even in some adult magazines you see it and they are paid to look good! Try not to let it put you off her, she's not the only one!

I don't have to shave there-I trim the other area! I shave my legs and arm pits even though there is only a few hairs under my arm pits! You are right-this is a hairy question! It probably is more noticeable since she shaves the other area. You could help her shave maybe with an electric razor! Hope you can work this out!

She is NORMAL 100%. Some girls/women don't get it until they are in their early 20s, some get it younger. Some don't even realize it's there. I didn't realize it for a long time. I mean, how often do I touch between my butt cheeks without TP? lol.
I have shaved it before but you are right, it's a real pain in the neck and it is hard to get it very smooth for very long. And the stubble hurts unless you get used to it.
But if it really bugs you, maybe buy her a gift certificate for a total wax job....they will mention the hairs for sure and she won't have to feel uncomfortable that you mentioned it. If she asks why you got her that for a gift, just say you read that women hate shaving "down there" and you thought she would like the spa treatment for a change.

This is not a question for any knowledge. It is needless to say hair can be anywhere in the body for someone. Man and women not different. Some have more, some less. The growth depends on your hormones or DNA.
But I have to state here that this question is from an insultive mind.

it is fairly normal actually.......on a scientific note, current international studies tend to show that those of female gender who pass low levels of gaseous wind have enormous amounts of undiscovered hair there....On the other hand, those found to pass gaseous wind with vigour and enthusiasm are often found without a single there,..... mind these are old studies about a year old so the statistic's may have changed since then....

It's a very difficult area to remove hair from, mostly because you can't see it! Tell her to try the Cleancut shaver, it's small and cylindrical and doesn't nick or bite.
