NO! not at all. Live a debt free life, why do you want to spend money you don't have? A credit card builds your credit rating record and if you start on a bad record at this age you will run into problems in future when u need a loan for serious things like a car or home loan.

With lots of research i have found three GREAT websites you can really make money off of and win great prizes for free if you just work at it. they're awesome.

this one- just click away at a game and earn points for lots of giftcards money and prizes plus 1000 bonus points for signing up- http://www.*********.com/?signupcode=xsm...
it would be a good idea AS LONG as you take care of it.. it would defintely help your credit. just as long as you can pay it...especially more than the reccomended amount. thats how my husband got a lot of good credit. for starters if you odn't have any or much credit ..apply for a capital one card...at first ...IF you don't have credit they might start you out at 300 dollars.

this one- great site...earned over one hundred in one month for free...awesome , games, contests and proof of payment- http://www.treasuretrooper.com/148534......

this one- it's so easy and takes five mins a day..and you can cash out at the end of the month and it's free...oh also...you can find ipods and gift certificates... http://www.exodus3000.com/?r=x_smoochy.....

Only if you can make the payments, you are too young to wreck your credit rating
