€ stands for Euro - The euro is the currency of twelve European Union countries: Belgium, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Finland.
As from 1 January 2007, the euro will also be the currency of Slovenia. Euro banknotes and coins have been in circulation since 1 January 2002 and are now a part of daily life for over 300 million Europeans living in the euro area.

£ or the British Pound (symbol: £; ISO code: GBP), divided into 100 pence, is the official currency of the United Kingdom and the Crown Dependencies. The slang term "quid" is very common in the UK. The official full name pound sterling is used mainly in formal contexts and also when it is necessary to distinguish the currency used within the United Kingdom from others that have the same name. The currency in general is sometimes called just "sterling" (for example, "payment must be in sterling"), particularly in the wholesale financial markets. The abbreviations "ster." or "stg." are sometimes used. The term British pound, used particularly by the U.S. media, is not an official name of the currency.
The pound was originally the value of one Troy pound of sterling silver (hence "pound sterling"). The currency symbol is the pound sign, originally ₤ with two cross-bars, then later more commonly £ with a single cross-bar....
The pound sterling is the oldest currency and the third most traded currency in the world, after the US dollar and the euro.

A ton of kids these days are trying hard to look "emo" because they think it looks cool. If someone is TRYING to look emo or whatever, they just come across as immature kids seeking attention. Emo is mostly just a clothing style involving dark colors and piercings. They do not have suicidal thoughts any more than other people. Emos are usually younger teens wanting to get attention. True goths actually follow the gothic religion and wear all black, with black hair. Never heard of juggalos! Scene is mostly just known for the huge hairstyles. Most punks like color. You're right about the mohawks and spikes. I have had many friends go through the "emo wannabe" phase, and so did I. And now that we're older we realize how dumb and immature we were. I've learned my lesson the hard way! Hope I helped. Have an awesome week
