since I am in the tanning business, I have to say,,,believably tan.

Fair skin.
Ladies always look great with fair skin. And its easy to go with clothes of all colors, including make-up. If u have dark skin...imagine tanned skin wearing a dark brown blouse...!!
White ppl spend so much money to 'tan' their skin to have a healthy look, while asian(like me) put so much whitening products on their face/body.

Fair skin is my visual preference but my husband of over 13 years has an tan complexion because he is native American... go figure!

I'm chinese so I'm fair, but I get tanned during summer, and it lasts up to october. I like myself fair but people say that I look better tanned... oh well

Tanned I guess... as long as it's not overly done.
Some people look better when they're fair and others when they're more tanned. . It doesn't really make a difference as long as the person looks good with whatever their skin looks like ^.^
It varies from person to person.

I like fair skin. Not the see your veins through your skin type pale... but clear, luminous, beautifully creamy skin. Tans... especially fake ones just don't do it for me

Fair, because I have black hair and ebony eyes and fair skin makes sure no one knows I am Hispanic, they think I am Italian. Actually I'm half and half.
