What Oprah has to say about anything is utterly POINTLESS. Why don't you attend to your own beliefs and leave the rest of us in peace? What is this compulsion to vent your personal faith? Are you looking for reinforcement? It would seem that if you held any religious tennents strong enough, what the rest of think or do not think would be of no value to you. Personally, the day I look to Oprah for any guidance will be the 12th of Never! She's got the bucks, but her life is not exactly a prototype of a fulfilled or happy existence..

Most celebrities who belong in the entertainment media exert strong influence in public opinion. Oprah, as powerful as she is, is a strong force to reckon with. Let's analyze her allegedly stated statement. It's true that there are more than one ways to enter heaven. And you're also right in stating that faith in the blood of Jesus Christ will gain you salvation and heaven. However it's not enough to have faith, and not to exhibit that faith in good works. One has to put that faith or belief in practice. It's not enough to profess it;but you have to live it. You have to apply God in your daily living. You have to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
Oprah, bless her heart, has helped a lot of people. She has brought a lot of immense happiness to a lot of less fortunate people. That's why when she was asked, if she's not ashamed to be so rich. She bantered no. Because she has the means, this gives her the opportunity to help others. All her charitable
generosity although more focused to her own race, should be acknowledged and praised and not criticized.
How I wish I'm filthy rich like her so I can help others. You should see her face speaks volumes when she brought some sunshine to some desolate souls. Because of her popularity and her wealth, she has the capacity to help others. And she does it; solely from the goodness of her heart. We shouldn't fault her for her good intentions.
Truly, faith alone will not get you heaven, but also charitable works. Remember, God says, "for whomsoever, you do to the least of my brothers, you do it to me."

Oprah has a psychology which appears Christian but actually is not. If you read some of the things going on in her private life, it is clear that a dedication to Christian principles is not the driving force in her decision making.
We would all be much better off if we all heard much less from Oprah. She is not a healer. She is a business enterprise preying on the weaknesses of those who watch afternoon TV.

A. (maximum individuals of them in any case...) i could decide to quickly forward 2 thousand years just to work out if the artwork in the Louvre replace to a halo'd African American female (with a number of diverse physique varieties in diverse artwork) and a following of crying hysterical housewives are putting on the enjoyed partitions the place the likes of the Mona Lisa and Waterlily's was once displayed... Or if she is artistically depicted (nevertheless on the partitions of the Louvre) in a extra firey "all of us understand who you somewhat are" Al Pacino in the devil's advise form of way...

Only thing Oprah cares about is her paycheck and her public image. Lots of people who have been on her show have said that if she doesn't like them or agree with them on the air, she is not nice at all at cutting their screentime short.
Who gives you the right to say that your belief system is the only correct one there is?

I think Oprah said it correctly.
All paths lead to the same path and ultimately to the same God. Who could argue with that?
For example: if a Christian claims that their path is the correct path.....and someone argues with them for 4 years and then decides to agree, and becomes a Christian.....are they not equally as saved, as the person who was a Christian 4 years sooner?
I'm not a Christian....just using an example.

I'm not sure of Oprah's faith, but it does appear that she thinks that exploiting the poor and unfortunate (building a house, new car, etc.) for television ratings will get her somewhere.
