I have been hanging out with this female friend of mine for the past year or so and I really like her. She and I share all of the same interest and hobbies and just really click when we around eachother. We go out to dinner,movies and local events together but I don't know what she wants. she always makes little jokes about the two of us but the next time we go out it's something about this guy she likes or her new boyfriend. Do you think she is using me since I pay for everything everytime or could she be unsure of what she want's or do you think she has been waiting for me to ask and feels im not interested? She know's I can offer her the world but at the same time that's makes me wonder is she's in it for one thing.

Another thing, for her bday I spent over 500.00 now what do you think she thought of that? Do you think she got the picture or just thinks im a nice guy with money?

If it's been a year, you should at least have an idea of how she feels. If she hasn't made a move, it's probably either because she sees you as only a friend, or she's waiting for you make a move. You guys are friends right? Talk to her, but don't come on too strong. Oh, and by the way, when a girl talks about other guys around you, it's usually a test to see your reaction. Don't ever show jealousy in that situation, because girls see that as a sign that you are controlling.

She has good time with you and you don't show any problems to pay the bills. How better she could have. Funny and nice guy for free time. The comments about some guys and boyfriends keep you in distance from her, and what that's the game about.
You've been used and if you like how it is accepted and enjoy the time together how it is.
Start thinking to get somebody for yourself, and get little break of this women.

Sadly it sounds like you have a golddigger friend.
If she liked you...she wouldnt be dating other guys and telling you about it.
You need to start dating someone or even show an interest in someone else..then her true feelings will come out.

you like her quite alright.i have male friends i dont take advantage of them,by making them pay all the time.
next time bye the popcorn and let her bye the movie tickets.
she might be using you,cause she knows you like her.
or maybe she might like the idea of you always being there for her,and pay for every thing and all.
does she like you for money or for you,try doing something that doesnt requir money,for a while.and when she sugests to go and watch a movie,let her pay,after all you are just friends right

Be honest better you ask her or you stop complaint if she is using you as stepping stone for sure.But also indication from your story I saw she like you too but as what friend or lover or something else this what you need to find out right away.
