my parents are Big curfew & law followers & all my friends & their parents arent. & all of them stay out til later and just hang out wherever and do whatever. I used to be able to sleep at one of their houses and then stay out with them. but i got in BIG trouble 4 months ago and now they wont let me stay out past 12. i am 16 & i feel like a child coming home that early. even though its the law - my parents should do what they want & let me stay out til when they want. i know i can become friends with other people, but basically everyone at my school is like this. & if they arent they dont do anything but sit home . & that is boring . so idk if im over reacting & try to wait til im 18 & can stay out til whenever or i should try to comprimse with them?

Guess who gets in trouble in you are out past curfew and gets picked up for whatever reason? That's right, your parents are responsible.
They work hard to provide and care for you. You can certainly talk to them, but you should understand where they are coming from and don't blame them for everything.

You should count yourself lucky. When i was your age I had to be in bed by 10 or 11 , much let BE OUT !!
Part of being an adult , wich is how you wanna show yourself to your parents to re-earn their trust , is to take your punishment w/ grace. Take responsibility for your actions. Only with time will they see you and regrow the trust you seek.
You got your whole life , don't rush , When you are older you will want to end your nights as early as you do now.

Gee your lucky when i was that age i wasnt aloud out that late. Your parents just want to make sure you are safe, but i guess untill we have our own kids we dont know what its like.
