The "cherry" is slang for the hymen (a thin, fleshy tissue that stretches across part of the opening of the vagina). "Popping the cherry" refers to stretching the hymen open.
Some girls' hymens are stretched open before they ever have sex play with another person by using tampons, insertive masturbation, riding a bicycle, or doing gymnastics. Other girls' hymens are stretched open the first time they have vaginal intercourse. In some women, the hymen doesn't fully stretch open the first time they have vaginal intercourse. It is possible that your hymen is already broken or that when being fingering it will break depending on how thick your hymen is and how intensive the fingering becomes.
Some people believe that a woman whose hymen has been stretched open is no longer a virgin. But having a hymen and being a virgin are not the same thing. Virginity means never having had sex. If a penis has never been inserted inside of you, then you are a virgin.

Hi Sweety! " Popping the cherry " is just an expression that means that you are not a virgin anymore because a penis has entered your body through intercouse. There is in women a tiny tissue-like sheath that is just inside the vagina which is called a hymen. If it is broken, sometimes a women will bleed or spot, but not always. The hymen can also break by doing a split, riding horse etc. The hymen doesn't completely cover the canal, so you can still insert a tampax without it breaking. A finger, if moving, can break the hymen. Now the most important thing---Fingers are one of the most dirty things on the body. They carry tons of bacteria and can cause an awful infection. Also, you can get herpes from that if he has it and there is touching between you both and onto the fingers, tongue or genitals. My girfriend got herpes like that when she was 19 and had to tell all of her boyfriends after that--She was so embarrassed. Today there is 50 plus Sexual diseases and if you were smart, you would keep your vagina clean and healthy and protect it from foriegn objects until you are in a situation like marriage, where your spouse promises to stay with you for life. Also, keep him out of your anal canal because that contains fecal matter and you can get some real problems. (aids, etc.)) Then, you wouldn't be a virgin anymore because he entered your body. Good luck and hold on to you virginity cuz you only get one chance--then it's gone forever.

The hymen is a small layer of skin at the entrance of the vagina that is typically broken when a woman experiences her first penetration. 'Popping the cherry' is a term for breaking this skin.
However, it is not a reliable test of virginity as was formerly thought.
a) The hymen can be broken through exercise, activities, etc... and some girls have broken their hymen before they even reach puberty.
b) Some women have very flexible hymens, which means they can undergo penetration several times without it breaking.
Finally, for the second part of the question, no. You will no longer be a virgin once you have had intercourse (full penetration). The hymen (or cherry) really has nothing to do with virginity.

Yes your hymen could break with fingers, but your still considered a virgin until you have actual intercourse. If you did not know the answers to these questions you are obviously too young to even be doing anything like this. Go sign up for a sex ed class in school! You might just learn something like self respect!

There is no guarantee that you have a cherry so to speak, even if you are a virgin. If you do, it is conceivable that it could "pop" from fingers alone, but no, you will still be a virgin until you engage in intercourse.

It could if he is rough. It never happened to me but...who knows. If your cherry is popped then you aren't considered a virgin, even if you havent gotten the real thing. Depends on how one looks at it. But a guy will question in the back of his mind if you tell him your cherry was popped but you're a virgin.

No no no. The "cherry" is definitely a chew of pores and skin referred to as the hymen. once you have intercourse for the 1st time, and your "cherry" pops, it quite is definitely your hymen tearing. The hymen is placed interior the vagina, close to the opening, yet interior your physique. The penis breaks the floor via getting into your vagina. whilst your hymen is broken, you bleed. on the grounds it quite is pores and skin tearing aside.

A. Maybe, maybe not.
B. No. You lose your virginity when he puts his penis inside your vagina, all the way inside.
Where does this sexual ignorance come from? Is it from the abstinence without education crowd?
