What is lean mass??

lean body mass is that part of your body that is not attributed to fat or bones

so, say you weigh 140 lbs, and 30 lbs is bone (I have no idea if that's a reasonable weight for bones or not, I'm just using it as an example) and 40 lbs is fat, then your lean body mass is 70 lbs (140-30-40).

im guessing mass without fat. because the dictionary puts lean as without fat.
