Lately, I've been thinking about cavities. So far I haven't had one and my teeth are in good shape, but for some reason I want to get cavities and fillings. Will my dentist do this for me? Does anyone else feel this way?

I know it's kind of weird...:)

I think it might be a weird phase...I'm sort of hoping it goes away. I've always been sort of paranoid of the drill. Maybe asking this question will have put it to rest. I hope so because this does seem freaky to me, but for some reason I've been wanting it. Thanks for the help and urges against it. I doubt I'd end up doing it anyway. :)

Oh man!

I've spent most of yesterday morning trying to fix a lady's bleeding gums cos she doesn't brush her teeth.

Brush your teeth

Keep them clear of cavities

A nice clean mouth is lovely to kiss

Bleeding gums and gingivitis and cavities and fillings are ICKY and the whole reason I'm a doctor, not a dentist!

I think you would have a hard time persuading a dentist to do a filling for you without a cavity. You certainly could not persuade them to create a cavity for you.

Perhaps you could go to a cosmetic dentist and get one to do a tooth tattoo and draw a little cavity on your tooth.

I had really bad teeth all through school and I gotta tell ya toothaches are the worst. No matter how much I tried to take care of my teeth they just kept getting worse, falling apart and fillings falling out. I had the metal kind and they turned some of my teeth black. I lost a lot of my teeth before I even got to high school and finally had the rest pulled soon as I graduated cuz I couldn't deal with toothaches no more. If you're over 10 and you never had a cavity you're really lucky.

The dentist will definitely do it for you because they all are money hunger. They will drill a hole in your teeth and then fill the hole.
You might also want to drink as much as soda as possible or smoke 2 pack of cigarette per day. Also when you go to bed do not brush your teeth and put syrup all over your teeth. Hope this help

Hi it is very weird. Believe me you do not want cavities, fillings are awful and the silver ones look very ugly and it hurts like hell getting them done plus they need to be replaced every so often.

But if you do still want cavities don't brush your teeth for a few weeks and eat loads of sugar and drink fizzy drinks.

Ok, you had a thought like this , just fine.. but for Heaven's sake dont follow this thought. You are lucky that your all the pearls are fine, just ask the persons who have to spend a lot of time and money in getting their teeth treated. Moreover, any qualified and ethical doctor would not like to fulfil your desire of getting the healthy teeth drilled. Just brush twice a day with fluoridated dental cream and be happy....Keep smiling !!!

my lord, this is kind of weird. your dentist will not help you. he wants to keep your teeth and you healthy. you are lucky not to have cavities, root canals, toothaches, etc. leave this alone. i don't know how old you are -- but don't let this be a wish. i wear dentures now -- and it's no picnic. wish for something positive. betty boop.
