I have heard from the news that, according to ecological program, has become possible to get bicycle for free in Zurich. Is it true? If yes, what should I do?

Yes, it is one of the only things that is free in Switzerland! An Ausweis is your ID-card. There is also a "Züri-rollt" next to the opera between Stadelhofen and Bellevue.

I know you can borrow bicycles, I don't know about keeping them. There are various "ZuriRollt" stands around the city, for example right in front of the Globus near the main station. (Behind the park on Bahnhofstrasse where there's a statue of Pestalozzi.) You'll need an ausweis and/or 20 francs, but just as a deposit.
