I saw they had some earrings that the metal type was called palladium plate at Wal-Mart. I never really heard of that before. I remember seeing it on the periodic table. My little sister was wanting one of the styles that the palladium comes in. Anyone ever had problems with them?

She might have sensitivity to it (try silver or gold if that's the case), but for the most part palladium is harmless.

Oh I guess so. I just looked something up. It has to do with the Sterling Silver being treated, or plated, with palladium to resist tarnishing. Don't know if it's hypo-allergenic though.
