My boyfriend and I are both a little over weight, and we both have seperate bad habbits (his is mountain dew and mine is sugar in my coffee) neither of us really exersize enough either. Nothing big but it'd be good if we were both a little more fit. Is it weird or cheesy to ask him to set goals with me about not falling back into our bad habbits? Is it unreasonable to ask him to do this with me?

No, its a great idea! Couple goals are much better than individual ones, you can support each other and challenge each other in reaching your goals! You can also introduce some exercise activity that is fun and doesnt look and feel like working out (skating, walking a dog etc) and your weight challenges should be aliminated! Great idea and good luck!

no not at all with you having different bad habbits that is kinda good bc you can help each other with them when you see each other going back to the bad habbits you can let the other one know and then you or him can stop. It is better to go on diest or goals together that way you have support from someon else.
GOOD LUCK.

Yes, just take care of your own problems and don't try to include him in this silly rat race.

It's like a dog chasing his tale. Pointless.

If you want to loose weight, cutting out sugar will not take it off, nor do you any good, just get up and work out.

Ask recliner-boy if he will spot you at the gym or would he rather some hot looking guy do it for you?
I bet he runs after you.

I wouldn't say its cheesy... its good that you re are thinking about him... but he might get offended. Just start taking care of yourself... and if he gives ANY effort... give lots of support back. He'll get the idea.

Also... keep in mind it's usually the caffeine in Mountain Dew that is addicting...not the sugar. Check out www.calorie-count.com for all sorts of cool tools, boards, recipes etc.

Good luck with your efforts!

It's good to have a buddy system. You both will be each others supporter. Going on walks could mean extra quality time for each other, you could talk about how your day went or things that are bothering you.

Super coool! It's marvelous to work together. I hope your beau is as great about such a thing as you. You should be able to work on all things that way. Longevity in those types of relationships. Good luck! :)

I don't think that's cheesey. It doesn't even have to be anything too major, maybe just more walking to near-by places or evenings after dinner.
