He sacrificed His human life on earth for a spiritual Life in Heaven.
He did this out of "obedience", too the Father.

Very good question...Here is one that may shed some light.
If you had something you had been saving for, spending your whole life saving penny by penny, and suddenly disaster strikes and you need to use that money toward the remedy, are you sacrificing the dream which in your mind was obtainable through frugal means? Or are you sacrificing the money you so thriftfully saved? Is it sacrifice? The money hasn't been lost, just put to another use...
I think that the broadness of the question leaves much to debate. It would be differentiating circumstance that would decide the sacrificial standing, or lack thereof.

That's a good point. I'm guessing you are referring to the sacrifice jesus made. Since he rose from the dead that kinda negates the sacrifice I would think. After all, what did he really give up? More to the point, he knew he would come back, so it wasn't even a true sacrifice. The christians say he suffered, but suffering isn't a true sacrifice--in the old testament it was always death--true death, not loaner death where god gives you back your life.

I find it strange that the new testament tells us that god gave his only begotten son to save us, but he didn't really die since he came back in a couple days. The new testament also tells us that jesus voluntarily gave his own life for our sins, but then you have that darn coming back from the dead thing, so you are definately right, there wasn't really a sacrifice. There are only people that think there was.

I've asked this many times myself. In what sense is it a sacrifice for some guy I don't know, and even doubt ever existed, to die thousands of years ago, when he would have been long dead by now anyway?

then it is not a sacrifice
a virgin on a stone alter ,or a goat
that is a sacrifice
one has to loose some thing that is worth something
the highest value is people
and animals are next
but you can symbolically sacrifice a cat ,or an efigy(doll)
or even produce like fruits and vegetable ,like at thanks giving

Depends on how you define "loss".
If you sacrifice a goat, you, personally, don't necessarily lose much, but the goat loses quite a bit.

when Adam & Eve sin in the Garden of Eden, we became lost in sin. Jesus came to Earth to pay for our sins on the cross. God required a sacrifice and only Jesus was perfect to carry our sins.

Jesus suffered a lot of loss!Loss of dignity loss of his life and loss of his prime position in heaven even though only temporarily, He experienced lots of pain because of the cruel treatment and also he lost his perfect human life and he lost all that willingly for us because of his love for humans he was willing to die for us and even undergo horrendeous pain with it! Yes he lost heaps! He paid for us dearly who would be willing to do something like he did among humans? I doubt there would be many offering to! take such losses!
