not only is cold turkey the cheapest, but it's the most effective. I'm a former smoker and by no means is it easy. It at first you don't succed, try, try again. I probably seriously tried quitting 7 times before I was finially FREE!!! Good Luck.

when I finally quit after many tries with all the stop smoking aids and support groups(and many $$ later) it was cold turkey.
it costs nothing.. you have to realize that the cravings will be strong at first and you must be stronger. When you want a smoke, try breathing deeply for a few seconds. concentrate on other things, use sugar free or low calorie mints and candies. Good luck

well, cold turkey is the cheapest. just decide you don't want a smoke everytime you want one. change your routine so your not in the same spot everyday remembering to smoke. i know more people who have successfully quit that way than any other way. no matter how you decide to quit just remember it will always be cheaper than if you keep smoking.
