It's amazing how nice everyone is when they think you're a Christian. That was an excellent litte *test* you just did. Wish I'd have thought of it.

Edit: you're certainly welcome. I probably should have e-mailed you, but at this time of night I was thinking WTF and just went for it.

Aak! So many answers that are not according to the bible! No please do not read the Da Vinci Code to get answers about who God is because it is not the Bible, and don't ask for a sign, that's putting God to the test, which is bad according to the bible. Good answers, but you are asking how you know for sure, correct?

Consider the death Jesus (Who is God in the form of a human pretty much) who lived a perfect life on earth, so he could pay for our sins. He is this mightly king, yet humbled himself enough for the sake of US, to come down to earth and die on the cross. This death is a form of Roman torture. And Romans KNOW their torture. Jesus had to push up by his nails that were hammered into his lower wrist (That's a lot more accurate spot than in the hand, the spot the bible was really referring to before the translation) just to breath his final breaths. Sure, he could get out of such a mess. He is God, afterall, but that would do nothing for the broken sinners known as humans, who This Almightly King as died for.

So when someone says God loves you because you exist, think a little harder about that. It's quite amazing, what happened 2000 years ago.

Have I ever lied to you?? well maybe in fun but not seriously. I know for sure God loves you leather lady. I like you and I am not nearly as nice as He is

here's what I'm gonna do we will have an experiment. You tell me when you are ready for an I LOVE you from God and I will pray you get one if you are willing to tell me when you received it. You can set out some vague but reasonable perameters. I did this once with a lady and she said she wanted a sign that Jesus loved her and what I told her was the truth. The next day she was driving and a one way sign fell on her hood. Get the idea.

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

You must take a step of FAITH. What do you have to loose?
I will pray this same prayer for you! Be Blessed! I love you!
Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Do you read the Bible much?

Questions about Jesus and God are answered in the Bible.

Read the book of John. Then read the book of Romans. Then Genesis and Psalms 51. Then keep going.

Pray every chance you get for God to help you understand.
Trust God.....

Just answering because of how funny your icon change was. Well funny different direction.
How to know that you are loved is a good question. Can never tell with humans but with GOD I feel that between the two of us I'll fail GOD before he isn't there for me. You know? Always there.

Jesus left the comfort of Heaven, came to Earth as a poor child, and gave up his life just to save you. What more proof could you want? God the Father gave up the most precious thing that he had, his son, to save the world. Could he demonstrate his love any more clearly?

----------------------------------------------------

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
~John 15:13-15 (NIV)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
~John 3:16 (NIV)

Jesus loves you so much He died for your sins. Why? in order that you can live for eternity just by simply receiving Him into your heart. You just pray " Lord Jesus, forgive me for my sins, wash me with your precious blood, Lord. I want to give my life to you. Come into my heart , Lord , and live your life through me" If you say this prayer with your heart open to Him , You will feel a warmth inside you that there will be no questions that you have been touched by our Lord Jesus Christ. Put Him into the driver's seat of your life , sit back and have confidence that He will guide your life for you. God Bless. Trust me , this prayer will change your life .

Well, when's the last time you heard from them?

That's really not a smarta** answer. I gauge how much I am loved by those in my life by what they "send" me -- not in terms of frequency so much as quality. (I'd rather have a yearly hug from certain people than *sigh* *eyeroll* yet _another_ blasted phone call from certain others.)

Glad you asked this; it's an interesting question to think about.

If you don't know, then there is no way that I can convince you. All I can tell you is that I experienced many miracles from God, and God has opened my eyes to the everyday miracles that people are too blind to see. Only the Holy Spirit can convert the heart to God. For most people, they have to hit rock bottom in their life before they can open their eyes to God. That's why God allows suffering to happen to people.

Have you ever fell in Love?
How does the person you fell in love with know that you are?
Its the same thing,
you have to take it by faith.
Ask your heart, look down and ask it, does Jesus love me and if he does let me feel it.
Sit down when you do this.
Your asking the one who created you the question.
Revealing is so sweet.
Do it,
I double dog dare you.
He loves you. Take it by faith.
Let me know what happens ether way.
