By the specifications I found on the Samsung website, the two are very close but not sure which one is better, best for the future. I also read that LED backlights are better than fluorescent because it offers the potential for more consistent picture quality over the life of the set and more accurate colors. Both have HDMI, tuners. I know the resolution of 1080p is coming next year but don't know if either of these models have it now. I would appreciate your help.

Neither of these two support 108p, which is not that big a deal as only a select few movies on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray will support that, cable and satellite won't. They are pretty close, of course one is 27 inches and the other is 26, but the 26 has a little better contrast ratio and also has the front inputs.
