If you tend to get cut down near your ankle and heel, make sure your foot is flat on the ground. Often people will lift their heel up. This causes the skin to crease up, and when the razor slips or runs over it, it creates a cut that just keeps bleeding everywhere, and stings like a b*tch.

For everywhere else, just take it slowly, especially where there are raised bumps from where the hairs are growing back. Usually people just scrape the top off them, rather than cut themselves, which both cause bleeding.

I'd recommend the ginger use of a new, sharp razor. Dull razors sound safer, but you generally have to put more pressure on them to get the job done. That's where a lot of accidents like cuts happen. If you can be careful and slow, a sharp razor will be much kinder to you than a dull one.

Also, shaving while your legs are wet and after you apply some warmed shaving lotion can helo too. Avoid scabs or any raised skin and be very careful when shaving around them.

Well shave slowly and carefully. Use some kind of shaving cream or soap! Be very careful around the knees, thats where people tend to cut themlselves.

I find that it is easier to use someting like Nair or Veet. You can get both of those as a lotion, or as a bladeless shaving kit. Try just a little first, to see if you might be to sensitive or allergic to it before you try it on your whole leg.
