My best friend told me two months ago that he was going to start seeing some girl. I told him I didn't think we should be friends anymore, especially not as close as we were, and he just shrugged it off and said that he wanted me to stay friends with him. I still backed off and didnt speak to him so that he can be with the girl. Then one day I called him to see if he was still going to pick me up from the airport. He didnt answer so I called a few hours later. No answer. The next day, I called one more time (and mind you I only called three times in 6 weeks, and this was for something important) and he answered and yelled at me for calling so often. Apparently she didnt like the idea that he and I stayed friends. He apologized the next day when she wasnt around, but it shows you just how bad some guys can be when they are "in love".

I think you should just lay low and see where it goes. If they do end up together, find some new activities where you would meet other people. Especially if your friend knew you liked the guy because otherwise she will always think you are trying to break them apart.

Well, if they like each other, move out of the way. It's hard, but more selfish not to let them go for it.

there is nothing for you to do. you don't have any control over THEIR situation. move on to someone else that likes you back.
