I know it's easier said than done but forget those people who might tease. They are imature and insensitive. Stick with your friends. I'm sure the word will spread if you are going to have brain surgery and anyone who will tease you is horrible. I bet you will have more support than you think. Talk to your principal about letting you wear a hat for the rest of the year. I'm sure he'll make an acception if you tell him you're having brain surgery. Also try searching the internet for some other wig options.

Well I'm truely sorry to hear this! A few day ago I found out my mother has a brain tumor and I know she'll have to go through the same thing as you! First of all you are you..don't care what others think of you! You can't help what is happening! Do you watch real world/road rules duel challenge? If you do theres a girl named Diem and she's been going through chemo for cancer she has. On one of the challenges she was brave and took off her wig, it was the biggest relief for her. You are beautiful whether or not you have hair! I hope you realize that sometime soon! Well I hope surgrey goes well! Your in my Prayers! God bless!

If I were you, look for as many wig websites as you can. You would be surprised to find that a lot of them are not that expensive, and a lot of them have the cutest hairstyles ever! If it is a priority for you to get a wig, then you'll need to save your allowance, or maybe you should take up a donation among your family? I'm sure they will want to help you in any way they can. God bless and best of luck to you.

1. Ask your principal if an exception can be made for so you can wear a hat.
2. If that doesn't work, make friends with some big guys and tell them you're worried people will make fun of you. Get them to jump anyone who tries. :p
I really don't think you'll have a problem though, assuming there's still some decency in this world...

have you seen the movie V for Vendetta? She had a shaved head and still looked good. From a guys point of view, I'd say dont be afraid of what people think, girls do alot of stuff with their hair, in fact people may think its cool, even if you didnt need the surgery, I would.

no you're not going to get picked on, especially if shaved head looks good on you. (like natalie portman) and besides, HELLO?! you had brain surgery, only immature morons would make fun of you in a situation like that. and if anything else fails, you should stand up for yourself. hey, you ARE a lot tougher than you think if you are a survivor of brain surgery. ;)

You Yourself should know your beatiful no matter what... If people make fun of you more than likely your friends are going to stick up for you no matter what... If they don't They're not your friends. If you looked at it differently and relize that hair doesn't define your beauty than all of that isn't going to matter. Stand tall, look everyone in the eyes and show them your real beauty. No one wants to be laughed at. But they should know your not going to be. Hair isn't what defines you. It's you who defines you. Bless you honey. I'll say a prayer for you. I hope your surgery heals you & this journey your going through is only going to make you stronger. Show them your beauty isn't your hair but just you...

no, trust me, no one picks on anyone who has to have something serious like brain surgery. the minute you tell kids that your head is shaved because of brain surgery (and not just some new hairstyle fashion), they're going to respect you and not tease you. trust me.
