In order to lose weight at a healthy rate you should try to eat 500 calories less per day than your normal diet and burn another 500 through exercise for a net calorie loss of 1000 calories per day. This should result in a weight loss of about 2 pounds a week for you. At your current weight I wouldn't recommend trying to lose anything more than that per week. You have to burn 3500 calories to burn 1 pound of fat, so if you do need to burn it faster you can adjust accordingly by eating less and/or exercising more.

so, you want to lose weight?but i think your weight is ideal for your height.but it's ok then..calories,well as i read somewhere(i dont remember) we need 2000 per day.but my lecturer (i think) said that 1200 is actually enough if you are a sedentary people.if you want to lose weight, you should make the output more than input.meaning, you should burn more than you take in.endurance exercise like walking, jogging, cycling or swimming burn a great amount of calories.so,try to avoid the lift and use the stairs as much as you can..that's all i can give..

At that height and weight it looks like you shouldnt need to lose weight! Are you sure you dont just need to tone up? Do some light weights - low weight, high reps to develop long lean muscle and your shape will change a little too.
