"Nympho" is short for "Nymphomaniac". Nymphomaniac is an obsolete pyschological term that was used to describe someone with a very high and possibly out-of-control libido.
The term is used colloquially to describe a woman who "just can't get enough".
The term psychologists use now is "hypersexuality".
