Honestly i don't think it is to young. I am twelve too and i stilll haven't had my first kiss i have had chances but i am waiting for the right guy. So anyways peole probally think it is to yound because since we are so young and haven't even reached our teens yet we still have or inisence and people think that since we still do have our inisence then we should keep it away from kissing even if it is a peck on the cheek, I mean this is not what i think I think that we are at an approprate age to be kissing, and make our own desicions. But parents have little kids and want them to be like that forever.... So thats just my view of what people think about kissing at twelve.

the younger you start engaging in sexual activities-like kissing-the younger you are when you lose your virginity and the younger you are the likelihood of you being mature enough to handle getting tested regularly for STD's and using condoms EVERY TIME is very small.
Lets face it-once you lose your virginity the easier it is to keep having sex whether you are ready for it or not. Do you really want to have a child when you are still just a child? Don't try to grow up so fast.

well if it is just a peck i don't see any wrong it in. as long as it doesn't go far. the problem is that with being 12, you barely know the rules of dating and that stuff. i just don't see or know if girls or boys that age even understand what it really means to be kissing and whatnot.

People would like to think children are still innocent, and they shouldn't be "corrupted."
