Dengue fever (also called breakbone or dandy fever) is a very nasty mosquito borne hemorrhagic virus disease. ( a flavivirus), I do not know of any drugs that are efective in its treatment .Never heard of papya having a prophylactic effect. Treatment is supportive. Blood transfusion, if there is significant blood destruction, daizepam ( or chloral hydrate), or agitation, fluid replacement for dehydration. usually Ringers lactate transfusion and electrolyte supplementation for salt loss. . Several companies are currently developing vaccines for the 7 strains of the virus.

papaya's leaves help alot..
yet still have to be consult with the doctor, so the doc can keep examining the patient's improvement.
